Join us for an unforgettable open mic night at the Red Butterfly Sports Bar on Labadi Beach, Accra, Ghana, on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 7 PM to 9 PM (GMT)!
We’re excited to feature two phenomenal artists and activists: Afi, the reigning SheSheSlam and Ghana National Slam Champion, known for her electrifying spoken word performances. She will represent Ghana at the World Poetry Slam Championship in Togo from November 12-17, 2024, and her powerful advocacy for empowerment and justice shines through her work.
Also gracing the stage is Natty, a talented Ghanaian wordsmith and community organizer, who uses his artistry as a tool for positive change. As a member of Ehalakasa, Natty embodies the spirit of Afro-consciousness through his unique spoken word style. Known as the Dauntless Warrior Poet, a title bestowed upon him by Mr. David Nelson of "The Last Poets," he inspires with his commitment to righteousness and truth.
Don’t miss this chance to witness their powerful performances!
