The Volta Region is set for an economic boost as the 7th Volta Trade and Investment Fair positions itself as “Ghana’s Eastern Gateway to Regional Markets.” Scheduled for November 26 to December 8, 2025, the Fair is organized by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) – Eastern, Volta & Oti Regions – in partnership with the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC), led by Regional Minister James Gunu.

This year’s edition marks a historic milestone as Ghana’s first 24-hour trade exhibition, with specific days running round-the-clock. Organizers say this aligns with the government’s agenda to build a vibrant 24-hour economy, enhancing engagement and driving night-time economic activity.
Volta: A Strategic Gateway
The Fair aims to promote the Volta Region as a hub for trade, investment, and innovation—connecting Ghana to Togo, Benin, Nigeria, and Cameroon. Exhibitors will include companies from Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Namibia, Kenya, India, and Malaysia, covering sectors such as agribusiness, ICT, tourism, manufacturing, creative arts, and sustainability.
Flagship Forums for Insight and Empowerment
In addition to exhibitions, a series of forums will take place, including:
- Volta Investment Summit
- Women in Entrepreneurship Forum
- Youth in Entrepreneurship Summit
- AI & Innovation Forum
- Creative Arts & Sports Development Forums
These sessions will focus on policy, skills building, and business development, promoting job creation and financial inclusion across the region.

Pre-Fair Activities to Drive Tourism and Engagement
Leading up to the Fair, organizers will host Corporate Fun Games and a formal launch in August 2025. In September, a curated tourism experience dubbed “Visit Volta, Experience Ghana” will showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.
A Platform for Partnerships and Growth
More than just a trade show, the Volta Fair is positioned as a catalyst for economic transformation, local empowerment, and international collaboration. Organizers are calling on the private sector, government agencies, development partners, and foreign missions to support and participate in what is expected to be the most ambitious edition yet.
