Pokua Poku-Mouhtuseb, a well-known Ghanaian fashion designer, has died.
The 42-year-old owner of ‘Poqua Poku Mouhtiseb’ was claimed to have died a few hours after giving birth in Accra’s Lister Hospital on February 14, 2024.
Netizens, including celebrities, have expressed their sympathies and paid tribute to the designer’s family.
Pokua leaves behind a husband and three children.
She was a former student at Achimota Senior High School and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
She founded the premium fashion company ‘Poqua Poqu’ in 2011 and has styled a number of Ghanaian celebrities.
Pokua’s work has appeared on various fashion runways across the country, including Glitz African Fashion Week and Ghana’s Most Beautiful, among others.
