Traveling to the United States is about to become even more convenient for Ghanaians. Beginning December 1, 2025, Delta Air Lines will introduce new seasonal daily nonstop flights between Accra and Atlanta. This launch not only marks the addition of a new route but also signals Delta’s deepening commitment to the Ghanaian travel market.

The Accra–Atlanta connection gives travelers a second direct option to the U.S., offering greater flexibility, reduced travel times, and more convenient scheduling. As Delta’s largest hub and the busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic, Atlanta provides seamless onward connections to over 215 destinations across the U.S.—from Miami to Los Angeles, Washington D.C. to Hawaii—making it easier for Ghanaians to visit family, explore, or conduct business.
Delta will operate the route with the Airbus A330-900neo, a modern aircraft already well-received in Ghana. Passengers can choose from Delta One Suites, Premium Select, Comfort+, or Main Cabin seats—all equipped with contemporary comforts, personalized service, and top-tier inflight entertainment.

In addition, Delta is elevating the onboard experience by including fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi on all transatlantic flights, including this new Accra–Atlanta route. SkyMiles Members can stay connected throughout their journey—streaming, shopping, or accessing real-time travel updates without interruption.
This service expansion comes as part of Delta’s wider initiative to equip its entire fleet with advanced, high-speed connectivity, ensuring that every passenger enjoys a smooth, tech-savvy travel experience.
As ties between Ghana and the U.S. grow stronger, Delta’s latest move opens the door to more travel opportunities—whether it’s a family reunion, a holiday getaway, or a business venture. With improved convenience and comfort, Delta is setting a new standard for travel between Accra and the U.S.
