The AFTV team, led by Robbie Lyle, arrived in Ghana on Tuesday night, in preparation for Sunday’s watch party at the Legon City Mall.
After landing at Kotoka International Airport Friday night, the squad was greeted enthusiastically by fans.
According to Robbie, the creator of AFTV, the choice to travel to Ghana was heavily influenced by Thomas Partey and their desire to connect with Arsenal supporters around the world.
During their time in Ghana, the team plans to see other sections of the country before the major event on Sunday.
“If this is anything to go by, my expectations are sky-high. I already know it’s going to be good. We’ve been hearing from so many Arsenal fans from Ghana frequently.”
“I am really looking forward to the party. It’s going to be incredible.”
While the Premier League game between Arsenal and West Ham United will be the major event on Sunday, the viewing party will also include the match between Aston Villa and Manchester United.
There will also be a viewing party for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Final.
AG Sports Management is partnering with BTL Africa to organize the public viewing.
