Renowned actor and theatre director Andrew Tandoh Adote has been praised as one of Ghana’s finest acting talents by industry expert George Quaye.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz with Kwame Dadzie on Hitz FM, George Quaye, Team Lead at ImageBureau, expressed admiration for Andrew’s dedication and exceptional craft. He emphasized that Andrew deserves recognition on a much larger scale.

“He is beyond a national asset and needs to be truly celebrated in grand style,” Quaye stated. “I’ve worked with many talents, but I can confidently say that working with Andrew gives you peace of mind. He takes his work seriously, pushes hard, and always delivers.”
Andrew Tandoh Adote is a prominent figure in Ghana’s theatre scene, especially through his longstanding involvement with Roverman Productions, led by playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte. He has played leading roles in several beloved stage productions, including Women on Fire, Forbidden, and The Comeback, earning widespread acclaim for his versatility and stage presence.
Beyond theatre, Andrew has made significant contributions to film and television, and is also known for his impressive voice-over work. His performances have enriched both mainstream and alternative storytelling in Ghana’s creative space.
George Quaye, who has collaborated with Andrew on numerous projects, lauded his work ethic, professionalism, and ability to fully embody his roles with authenticity. These, he said, are reasons the actor deserves national and international celebration.
In addition, celebrated film personality Socrate Safo recently described Andrew as one of the best actors in the world, further affirming his standing in the industry.
