Trendupp Africa, the trailblazing platform championing creatives across the continent, proudly announces the launch of the fifth edition of the Trendupp Awards—Africa’s premier awards platform dedicated to celebrating content creators, influencers, and brands shaping the digital landscape.
Marking a major milestone, this year’s edition commemorates five years of recognising excellence in digital creativity, storytelling, and cultural influence. Since its inception in 2021, the Trendupp Awards has evolved from a visionary idea into a powerful Pan-African movement, spotlighting the talents using social media as a tool for impact, innovation, and influence.
“When we launched Trendupp Awards, our goal was clear: to give content creators and influencers the recognition they truly deserve,” said Tiwalola “TjDotts” Olanubi, Founder/CEO of Trendupp Africa. “From celebrating creators in Nigeria to becoming a continental benchmark for digital influence—this journey is one we’re incredibly proud of.”
In a landmark moment last year, the awards expanded beyond Nigeria to honour creatives from across Africa, with Ghana’s Endurance Grand (@endurancegrand) making history as the first-ever Force of Influence (International) winner. This year, the scope widens even further.
