The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, powered by Smirnoff, are Africa’s foremost celebration of DJ skill and culture, and this year’s organizers, Merqury Republic, have announced a new location for the event.
The 12-year-old event’s 2024 edition will now be held on November 9 at Accra’s Palms Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
The goal of the yearly Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2024 remains to honour diligent DJs for their contributions to Ghanaian music. Known as the largest DJ event in Africa, the concept of the event has evolved from “moved by music” to “United by music” this year. Joy Prime is the event’s primary media partner.
“United By Music” emphasises how music has the ability to unite people by bridging divides and promoting a sense of oneness. Guinness Ghana’s commitment to fostering diversity and showcasing the variety of talents present in the Ghanaian music industry is reflected in this subject.
A few months back, Merqury Republic announced the 2024 edition and detailed the spectacular and influential celebration activities. The Ghana DJ Clinic, which aims to teach DJs and other industry professionals about music, and Pub Fest, a national tour of pubs in particular areas around the nation, are two of the curated activities.
In the lead-up to the major event, which will take place at the Palms Convention Centre on November 9, 2024, Ghanaian DJs are set to provide music enthusiasts with an unforgettable experience.
The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, which are organized by Merqury Republic, the top event management firm in Africa, have been the standard for evaluating the yearly performance of DJs in Ghana and other countries since 2013.
In addition to being supported by LG, CompuGhana, Electroland Ghana Limited (EGL), Korba, Franko Trading Enterprise, and the Ghana Library Authority, the 2024 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards are powered by Smirnoff, with support from Dennis Pizza, Whatsup TV, and Ezzy Grab GH.
