A colorful contingent of about fifty Ghanaians—media professionals, businesspeople, and travelers—arrived in Dubai to greet the Wanderlust Ghana team. After a successful road trip from Accra to London in 2023, the team is currently traveling 30,000 kilometers over 30 nations, and this much anticipated visit represents a crucial milestone in that journey. The journey, which is organized by the G10 Travel Companies, offers Ghanaians a thrilling chance to travel with the Wanderlust Ghana team to their main destinations in South Africa and Dubai.
Prominent travel agencies like Adbel Travels, Eves Travelcation, and Travel Planners Ghana are part of the G10 consortium. Through this project, they hope to increase both tourism and cross-cultural exchange.. The Wanderlust Ghana team, known for their adventurous spirit, has been making significant stops along their journey, with Dubai being one of the highlights. From October 6-12, 2024, participants will enjoy an array of thrilling experiences, including a desert dune bashing the Ghanaian way and an all-white party on a yacht, fostering connections among Ghanaians in Dubai.
The team will resume their journey after their Dubai experience, traveling to South Africa for a six-night stay from November 7–14, 2024. Expect to see famous locations like Table Mountain, Robben Island, and Soweto. The trip will end with a party hosted by the Wanderlust crew. An additional meet-up in Benin is scheduled for individuals who are unable to attend in Dubai or South Africa, providing an additional opportunity for Ghanaians to interact with the team. Representative of the G10 group Mercy Akaliga emphasized the value of endorsing Wanderlust Ghana’s objective, saying, “Tourist tourism is being promoted by Wanderlust Ghana through its ‘Visit Ghana’ tagline, among other things.
