After a short break, Walk With Lexis—the health-awareness fitness initiative created by Louis Sakyiamah (popularly known as Lexis Bill), host of Drive Time on Joy 99.7 FM—will return on Saturday, 27th September 2025.

This year’s edition is being held in collaboration with the FESTAC Festival, currently underway in Ghana. In addition to promoting active living, the walk will highlight FESTAC’s campaign to raise awareness on gender-based violence while encouraging healthy lifestyle choices.
Since its launch in 2016, Walk With Lexis has inspired Ghanaians to adopt healthier habits through activities such as walks up the Aburi Mountain, health talks, medical screenings, aerobics, and networking opportunities. The walk will once again begin at the Ayi Mensah Police Station and continue to the Lodge Tavern, opposite the Peduase Lodge, with designated stops for aerobics and health education sessions.

Over the years, the initiative has attracted prominent personalities, including former Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, former Youth and Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, satirist Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM), as well as CEOs, diplomats, and celebrities.
In 2018, the event was named Best CSR Event at the Ghana Event Awards, surpassing other notable community and health-driven initiatives. It has also earned multiple nominations in the CSR category for its outstanding contribution to community service and event management.

The upcoming edition on 27th September 2025 will maintain this successful model. According to Lexis Bill, the event represents a natural extension of his continuous health and wellness advocacy, which has positively impacted thousands of Ghanaians and inspired individuals beyond the country’s borders.
Many past participants have reported significant improvements in cardiovascular health, along with the added benefit of accessing a valuable networking platform.
