Victoria Michaels Recognized at the 40 Under 40 Achievers Awards

Ghanaian modelpreneur, philanthropist, and climate advocate Victoria Michaels has once again been celebrated for her remarkable contributions, winning the Climate Change & Sustainability category at the prestigious 40 Under 40 Achievers Awards.

Dazzling in a Vlisco gown styled by Paon, with hair by Afro Elle and makeup by H.O Beauty Bar, Michaels took the stage to deliver a passionate call to action.

“Our waste must be segregated, recycled, upcycled, and disposed of properly,” she emphasized.

The honour reflects her years of committed work in environmental advocacy — from leading coastal clean-ups across Ghana to engaging with world leaders such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tony Blair at the Austrian World Summit. As the EU Goodwill Ambassador in Ghana and Chief Inspiration Officer at Fashion Connect Africa (FCA), Michaels has remained a strong voice for sustainability and youth empowerment.

In an emotional tribute, she dedicated the award to vulnerable communities:
“I dedicate this award to every child, mother, and youth wondering if their community will ever be clean again. Don’t lose hope — help is coming.”

The evening also carried a personal touch, as Michaels shared a heartwarming moment with her longtime friend and host, Shirley Emma Tibila (Cooke), celebrating 20 years of friendship and shared growth.
