The highly anticipated Tidal Rave Festival 2025 has been officially announced as a two-day celebration set for 14th and 15th November at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, promising ravers a reimagined and elevated beach festival experience.

The festivities will kick off on Friday with an invite-only pre-party powered by Johnnie Walker, followed on Saturday by a full day of music, culture, fashion, food, and surprises. A lively road carnival will lead fans to the main venue, transforming the journey itself into part of the experience.
Spotlight on the Culture Currents
Event Director Awo Ampadu Somuah revealed that this year’s edition will spotlight the Culture Currents, a collective of creatives including Lisa Quama, Ato Sekyi, Rev Erskine, Samuella Graham, Ellen Osabutey, Makafui Awuku, Kojo Junior, and Joewackle.
“Over the years, Tidal Rave has been known for delivering the ultimate rave experience. But this year, for the first time, the spotlight shifts to the Culture Currents — a carefully selected team of industry leaders,” she explained.
The Culture Currents will shape the festival by offering diverse insights on fashion, food, culture, dance, storytelling, and sustainability. Organisers say their involvement will ensure Tidal Rave becomes more than just music, but a true celebration of creativity, energy, and community.

Brand Partners Elevating the Experience
Partners are also stepping up to deliver fresh offerings. Absa Bank is introducing Red Alert tickets, offering discounts and exclusive packages. “Tidal Rave Festival is a vibrant expression of youth culture and ambition, and we are proud to give ravers the opportunity to enjoy it on their own terms,” said Charles Addo, Director of Retail Banking at Absa Bank.
Johnnie Walker will return with the Afro Exchange, an immersive cultural experience that builds on last year’s successful Flavour Code Experience. “It wasn’t just about whisky; it was about living bold, premium moments that matched the festival’s energy,” noted Nana Yaa Amoah-Owusu, Marketing Manager, Spirits and RTDs at Guinness Ghana.
Expanding Horizons Through Collaboration
This year also marks a new two-year partnership between Tidal Rave Festival and the Black Star Experience (BSE), aimed at promoting Ghanaian tourism and the creative arts. Rex Owusu Marfo, Presidential Staffer and BSE Coordinator, described the collaboration as “a direct investment in our future” that ensures culture not only survives but thrives.
EchoHouse CEO Beryl Agyekum Ayaaba emphasized the festival’s role as a creative platform: “Tidal Rave Festival has always been more than just an event; it is a stage to empower and showcase Ghana’s incredible creative talent.”
As part of this partnership, organisers are exploring the expansion of Tidal Rave Festival to other African countries, with the first new destination expected to be announced later this year.
A Festival Beyond Boundaries
With support from Absa Bank, Johnnie Walker, Red Bull, MobileMoney Limited, and Black Star Experience, the 2025 edition of Tidal Rave is set to redefine raving in Ghana and beyond, cementing its status as one of Africa’s premier youth culture festivals.
