The Ghana Tourism Authority has recognised Brynx Haven Guest House for its contributions

The Ghana Tourism Authority has awarded Brynx Haven Guest House in Cape Coast the title of Guest House of the Year 2024 during a vibrant ceremony held at the Castle Gardens in Osu on Friday, October 25, 2024.

This recognition follows Brynx Haven’s recent accolade as the Guest House of the Year in the Central Region, also awarded by the Ghana Tourism Authority at a ceremony in Cape Coast just a month prior.

In the citation accompanying the award, the Tourism Authority praised Brynx Haven for its “exceptional service, hospitality, and commitment to providing travelers with clean and well-appointed rooms at affordable rates.” It noted that the guest house “exemplified excellence by offering a unique blend of comfort, culture, and value.”

Brynx Haven was acknowledged for its unwavering dedication to delivering an unforgettable guest experience while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service. The citation highlighted that the establishment provides a genuine home-like atmosphere, with well-maintained surroundings, fully furnished rooms, and quality service delivered by professional staff. This impressive reputation has been consistent since the guest house’s inception, making it a preferred lodging option for both domestic and international visitors.

Mr. Isaac Hayford, the Chief Executive of Brynx Haven, accepted the award and expressed gratitude to his staff, dedicating the honor to them. He recognized their hard work and commitment to the principles of quality and customer satisfaction. Hayford also thanked his clientele for their support and promised that he and his team would strive to enhance the guest experience at Brynx Haven.

As an architect and building contractor with a passion for quality design, Hayford is currently expanding the Cape Coast facility to accommodate more guests. In 2023, he also opened a branch of Brynx Haven in Ashieyie near Adenta, featuring its own boutique attractions.

A total of 36 competitive and honorary awards were presented to deserving individuals in the industry during the ceremony, which was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Andrew Egyapa Mercer, his Deputy, Mark Okraku Mantey, the Board Chairman and Board Members of the Ghana Tourism Authority, CEO Mr. Akwasi Agyeman and his deputies, Ekow Sampson and Ben Anane Nsiah, as well as members of the diplomatic community. The occasion was chaired by former Minister for Information, Madam Oboshie Sai Coffie.
