Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has officially revealed that his flagship event, the Rapperholic Concert, will be held in Kumasi for the very first time on September 27, 2025.

The multiple award-winning artist made the announcement via Instagram, writing:
“It’s Official #RapperholicTheHomeComing. This year we bring my people in Oseikrom a treat! 27th September. Tickets out this Friday, 25 July!!! I’m gassed up 💨💨💨,” alongside the event’s official artwork.

In preparation for the historic show, Sarkodie and his team recently paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace. The visit was to formally notify the King of the upcoming concert and seek his blessing. Otumfuo warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed interest in attending the much-anticipated event.
Dubbed “The Homecoming,” this special edition of Rapperholic is expected to deliver an unforgettable night of music and cultural celebration in the heart of the Ashanti Region. Fans in Kumasi and beyond are eagerly awaiting ticket sales, anticipating an iconic performance from one of Africa’s most influential rappers.
