The Ghana Music Awards USA (GMA-USA) has honoured Prophet Eric Boahen Uche, Founder of Reign House Chapel, for his outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Ghana’s music industry.

The presentation took place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, during a church service, where Mr. Dennis Boafo — Chief Executive Officer of GMA-USA, popularly known as Don — presented the citation to the Prophet in recognition of his continuous support for the music fraternity.
In his remarks, Mr. Boafo commended Prophet Boahen for being a steadfast source of encouragement and financial support to several Ghanaian gospel artistes. He noted that the Prophet’s dedication has helped sustain many musicians through the challenges of the industry.
“This award recognizes your remarkable contribution to Ghana’s gospel music industry and beyond,” Mr. Boafo stated.
He also revealed that Prophet Boahen played a vital role in supporting the 2025 edition of the Ghana Music Awards USA, a contribution that could not go unnoticed.
Receiving the honour, a visibly touched Prophet Eric Boahen expressed his appreciation to the organisers, describing the recognition as a great motivation to continue supporting the music industry. He pledged to do even more to uplift Ghanaian music and encouraged others to contribute to the growth of the creative arts.
“This recognition inspires me to keep supporting gospel artistes and to help elevate Ghanaian music on the global stage,” he said.
He further urged the GMA-USA team to remain committed to promoting Ghanaian music in the diaspora and creating greater opportunities for both emerging and established artistes.
Beyond his ministry, Prophet Boahen is well known as a patron of gospel events and a supporter of young musicians. His involvement in this year’s awards underscores the growing recognition of individuals who bridge faith and creativity, contributing to the advancement of Ghana’s music landscape.
