Philip Nai joins organizing team for 2025 Tribe Culture Festival in the U.S.
Tribe Culture Fest, a dynamic cultural celebration held annually in the United States, has named Ghanaian media executive and event strategist Philip Nai as a member of its 2025 organizing committee.

Philip Nai, one of Ghana’s most accomplished radio producers and event organizers, brings extensive experience and creativity to the festival, which unites the global Black diaspora—including communities from Africa, the Caribbean, Afro-Latino regions, and Black America—under one vibrant cultural roof.
Currently serving as Head of Production for Joy Entertainment and Senior Producer at Joy FM, both under the Multimedia Group, Nai oversees strategic content development, event execution, and broadcast direction for some of Ghana’s most popular programs such as Showbiz A-Z, Cosmopolitan Mix, and Drive Time. He has also led the production of key national and international events including the Ghana Music Awards, EMY Africa Awards, Skuuls Reunion, and the Global Citizen Festival 2022.
In 2024, he led the Creative Arts Manifesto Debate, Ghana’s first national dialogue engaging political parties on creative industry policy—cementing his role as a thought leader in Ghana’s media and cultural sectors.
Beyond media, Nai is the founder of Philip Nai and Friends, a philanthropic initiative focused on improving the welfare of underprivileged children through education, healthcare, and mentorship.
Philip joins a distinguished organizing team for Tribe Culture Fest, which includes Scott Blow, Onome Emore, Hester Agudosi, Nana Gyimah, Mariama Yunusah, Obi C. Agudosi, and Kristin Gyimah.
Set for July 6, 2025, at Hinchliffe Stadium, 168 Maple St., Paterson, NJ, this year’s Tribe Culture Fest expects over 18,000 attendees, 100+ vendors, and more than 5 million digital engagements.
The event will feature two key segments:
- Cup Quest (9 AM–3 PM): A soccer-themed experience with live DJs, youth tournaments, fan zones, cultural talks, and street soccer.
- The Music Festival (from 5 PM): A celebration of Black diasporic culture through headline musical performances, curated soundscapes, and signature cocktails.
Tribe Culture Fest continues to champion local businesses, cultural pride, and global unity—creating a bridge across borders, generations, and traditions.
