Nigerian content creator Brain Jotter recently shared his experience working with Ghanaian comedians while in Ghana for the premiere of the stage play You Play Me, I Play You, directed by actor and producer Fiifi Coleman. The play features notable Ghanaian comedians, including Clemento Suarez and Jeneral Ntatia.
In an interview on 3FM Drive on November 1, Brain Jotter expressed how smooth the experience has been, especially with Jeneral Ntatia’s professionalism. “Jeneral Ntatia is making the work extremely easy. It’s like one take, one go. Thanks to Jeneral and the Director, they’re making it incredibly smooth for us,” he said.
He also shared his excitement about the opportunity, describing it as a chance to connect with his Ghanaian fans, as this is his first time performing in a Ghanaian stage production.
You Play Me, I Play You is a thought-provoking socio-cultural satire by the late legendary playwright Efo Kodjo Mawugbe. The play will be staged at the National Theatre and the Bukom Boxing Arena on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, 2024. Produced by Africa Arts Network, the production features a talented cast, including Jeneral Ntatia (Ghana), Brain Jotter (Nigeria), and Clemento Suarez (Ghana), under the direction of Fiifi Coleman.
