The 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA)

The prestigious awards ceremony is set to take place on May 10, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. Public voting is open on the Africa Magic website until May 4.

Now in its 11th year, the AMVCA continues to honor excellence across 27 categories, combining jury-selected and audience-voted awards. A distinguished panel, chaired by veteran filmmaker Femi Odugbemi, will determine the winners in 18 non-voting categories, while fans will decide the winners of nine audience-voted categories.

Additionally, two special recognitions—the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Trailblazer Award—will celebrate pioneers in the African film industry.
