The government has inaugurated a new 14-member governing board for the Creative Arts Agency, featuring a blend of notable industry personalities and government representatives. Among the appointed members are comic actor Clement Amponfi Bonney (popularly known as Mr Beautiful), acclaimed playwright Latif Batalima Abubakar, and former radio host and singer Korkui Selormey.

According to the Agency’s announcement, the board is composed as follows:
- Chairperson – Appointed by the President (name yet to be disclosed)
- Gideon Cyril Aryeequaye – Executive Secretary
- William Akwetey Bonsu – Representative from the Copyright Office
- Divine Owusu Ansah – Representative from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts
- Yaw Lorlorwu Sekyi – Representative from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Agribusiness
- Brenda Abankwah – Representative from the Ministry of Finance
- Divina Dornuki Nkwatabisa – Representative from the Attorney General’s Department
- Clement Amponfi Bonney (Mr Beautiful) – Creative Arts Industry representative
- Akofa Edjeani – Creative Arts Industry representative
- Leonora Buckman – Creative Arts Industry representative
- Korkui Selormey – Creative Arts Industry representative
- Latif Batalima Abubakar – Creative Arts Industry representative
- Benjamin Anabila – Creative Arts Industry representative

This board, comprising both state officials and experienced creative professionals, is tasked with formulating and guiding policies to support the growth of Ghana’s creative arts sector. Their responsibilities include tackling major industry challenges such as copyright enforcement, funding solutions, and the development of infrastructure.
The board is set to begin its duties immediately after its official swearing-in.
