In a press release signed by Mabel Delassie Awuku, Head of Public Relations, the Ministry reaffirmed that its correct and legally recognized name remains the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts (MoTCCA).

According to the Ministry, this name reflects its expanded mandate to fully integrate the creative arts industry into Ghana’s cultural and tourism development strategy. It also reinforces the Ministry’s original designation at its establishment.

The Ministry is therefore calling on the general public—particularly media outlets—to take note of this clarification and to use the official name, Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts (MoTCCA), in all communications and references moving forward.
