On the sidelines, Alfred Hammond, Senior Marketing Manager at Mobile Money Limited, highlighted that MoMo Fest was about more than just music.

“We are here in Osu to celebrate Homowo with the community. As part of MoMo Fest, we organized a cashless fair, staged an educational drama on fraud awareness, and entertained thousands of people. It has been a true celebration of culture, music, and unity,” he noted.

He also emphasized the importance of MoMo in promoting financial inclusion. “MoMo empowers people to send money, invest, pay insurance, and carry out transactions securely, without handling physical cash. Everything you need is on your phone, making MoMo the most reliable partner for daily life.”

Beyond the stage, the festival hosted food vendors, artisans, and service booths that provided SIM replacements, customer care, and live financial transactions. Interactive activities, including a MoMo Fraud Awareness Quiz and digital finance workshops, added a rich educational layer to the festivities.

By the close of Saturday night, MoMo Fest 2025 had proven itself to be more than a festival. It stood as a celebration of Ghanaian creativity, innovation, and cultural pride, while strengthening the bond between MoMo and the communities it supports.
