The MEADFA Conference will be held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana, from November 19 to 21, marking the first time this yearly event will be held in West Africa, according to the Middle East and Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA).
The decision to hold the event in Ghana this year was taken to highlight the strategic significance of the African market as well as the distinctive opportunities and difficulties in the area. Ghana is a great destination for the event since it’s a gateway to Africa, has some of the fastest-rising economies in the world, and has a distinctive culture and customs.
The MEADFA Conference is being organized by TFWA and is being held at Dufry this year. Dufry has business in various African nations and has a sizeable presence there. The company’s knowledge of the African market will be crucial to making sure the event is a success. We are honored to be organizing this historic event alongside the Ghana Tourism Development Company and the Ghanaian government as our partners.
The programme’s specifics as well as additional useful information will be provided soon.
“Ghana is happy to take a leading role in fostering the growth and development of the travel retail industry in Africa as the first sub-Saharan African nation to host the MEADFA Conference. We are dedicated to fostering an environment that fosters and promotes the expansion and prosperity of businesses in Ghana, and we think that the MEADFA Conference will give our local companies a venue to network with global players and look into new business prospects. says Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Honourable Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal
