Ghanaian makeup artist Roselyn Akosua Mantey has officially presented her Guinness World Records certificate to the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), following her historic achievement in completing the longest makeup marathon.
The symbolic presentation took place on Tuesday, 8 April 2025, where Mantey handed over the framed certificate to the GTA in recognition of her 103-hour, 25-minute, and 33-second non-stop makeup session, which began on 3 April 2024 in Legon, Ghana.
Mantey’s extraordinary feat, which garnered both national and international acclaim, not only showcased her personal resilience and commitment but also elevated Ghana’s profile on the global beauty and creative arts stage.
During the brief ceremony, GTA officials lauded Mantey’s outstanding accomplishment, emphasizing the significant role such individual achievements play in showcasing Ghanaian talent and innovation to the world.
