Kuami Eugene has addressed and debunked ongoing rumors that he has left Lynx Entertainment, the record label that has managed him since his rise to fame. In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the award-winning musician clarified that there is no truth to the speculations about his exit from Lynx, describing them as mere rumors circulating on social media.
He explained that if such a significant decision were to be made, there would be an official statement from both him and Lynx Entertainment. “People are so impatient on social media,” Kuami Eugene said. “If there was an official exit like everyone is talking about, I haven’t put anything out, Lynx hasn’t put anything out, and people are just trying to end our contract for us. At the end of the day, if we are close to the level where we feel like, ‘okay, Kuami is no longer with Lynx and he is done,’ we will put it out for everyone to know.”
Kuami Eugene further emphasized his ongoing relationship with Lynx, noting that they continue to work closely together. He mentioned that just recently, he had sent a song to Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment, as part of a project Richie is currently working on. “What I’m trying to say is that me and Lynx are still working. I just sent a song to Richie two days ago on a project he’s working on, and he needs me to do one or two things for him, so we are very cool,” he explained.
The singer reassured fans that if there ever comes a time when he parts ways with Lynx Entertainment, they will make a formal announcement together to avoid any confusion or speculation. “If I happen to leave there, we will put it out for everyone to know,” he reiterated.
Kuami Eugene is currently promoting his latest single, Belinda, and continues to focus on his music career under Lynx Entertainment, dispelling any doubts about their professional relationship
