Kojo-Hilton Pledges to Champion Visual Artists Following CAFOG Board Appointment

Prince Kojo-Hilton, a renowned Pan-African Art Ambassador, has pledged to advocate for Ghana’s visual artists following his appointment to the Interim Board of the Creative Arts Federation of Ghana (CAFOG).

Representing the visual arts domain, Kojo-Hilton sees his new role as a chance to address industry challenges and push for greater inclusion, innovation, and policy reform. “This isn’t just a title—it’s a responsibility to help shape a stronger future for visual arts in Ghana,” he said.

A celebrated production designer, muralist, and founder of Hilwood Studio, Kojo-Hilton emphasized the transformative power of art in national development.

CAFOG’s inauguration marks a milestone for Ghana’s creative industry, bringing together key representatives across seven domains—film, music, fashion, visual arts, literary arts, performing arts, and media—to drive unity and structure in the sector.

Other board members include Richard Yaw Boateng (President), David Dontoh (Vice President), Lilian Sally Addo (Secretary General), and representatives like Bill Asamoah, Bessa Simons, Fred Amugi, and Ameyaw Debrah.

Kojo-Hilton expressed optimism about contributing to a more vibrant arts ecosystem: “Together, we can elevate Ghana’s creative economy.”
