Jeffrey Nortey Pays Tribute to Ga Mantse Ahead of June Performance.
Renowned Ghanaian actor and content creator Jeffrey Nortey recently paid a courtesy visit to the Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, at the Ga Mantse Palace in Accra. The visit, held on Wednesday, was part of preparations for his upcoming stage production scheduled for June 14, 2025, at the National Theatre.

During the visit, Nortey formally invited the King to the event and sought his blessings and guidance. He described the meeting as a deeply meaningful moment, offering both inspiration and cultural grounding as he continues to advance in his artistic journey.
Reflecting on his recent success with digital content, Nortey highlighted the popularity of his Ga-language skits, especially those featuring veteran actress Kalsoume Sinare. The humorous and culturally resonant performances have gone viral, sparking renewed appreciation for Ga heritage and storytelling.

“This visit goes beyond just an invitation—it’s about connecting with tradition and learning from it. That energy and wisdom will undoubtedly influence my upcoming performance,” Nortey shared.
Representing the Ga Mantse, Nii Ahene Nunoo III, Paramount Chief of the Abola Traditional Area, praised Nortey for using his creative platform to promote Ga culture. He assured Nortey of the Ga State’s full support and pledged their presence at the event, commending the actor for his role in preserving cultural identity through entertainment.
Nortey’s first major stage show, 3FacesOfJeffreyNortey, which premiered in December 2023 at Snap Cinemas, was widely acclaimed. His portrayal of three distinct characters, especially the bold and comedic “Dragon,” resonated strongly with audiences.
With his next show on the horizon and bolstered by cultural recognition, Jeffrey Nortey is set to deliver another powerful performance, blending humor, tradition, and storytelling for both loyal fans and new audiences.
