The 2025 edition of the Inter Tourism Expo Accra (iNTTA) is poised to make a significant impact on Ghana’s tourism and investment landscape when it takes place from October 23 to 25 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

Organised by Emmanuel Treku, Chief Executive Officer and Convener of the Expo, this year’s event will unite key tourism stakeholders, cultural leaders, investors, and innovators under the theme: “Cultures Connecting: Fostering Tourism Exchange and Understanding.”
Unveiling the agenda, Mr. Treku noted that iNTTA 2025 aims to move beyond discussions and drive practical, transformative strategies that promote Ghana’s growing influence in global tourism while advancing sustainable development goals.
The three-day event will feature insightful panel discussions, exhibitions, and cultural showcases that encourage dialogue, stimulate investment, and celebrate Ghana’s diverse heritage.
Key sessions include “Tourism and Investment in Ghana: An Overview,” which will explore new investment opportunities, infrastructure growth, and policy reforms; and “Dialogue on the Black Star Experience,” focusing on Ghana’s identity as the Black Star of Africa and its enduring appeal to global travellers.
Other major topics will include “Diaspora Africa Engagements,” aimed at strengthening Africa–diaspora connections through tourism and trade; and “Destination Marketing: Storytelling in the Digital Age,” which will examine how digital storytelling and influencer collaborations are redefining destination branding.
Panels such as “Youth Social Entrepreneurship in a Sustainable Economy” and “Scoring Beyond the Pitch: Sports Tourism and Africa’s Economic Future” will spotlight tourism’s role in empowering young entrepreneurs and driving economic growth ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Additionally, a special session on “Cultural Heritage Preservation: Balancing Tourism and Tradition” will address the importance of protecting Ghana’s cultural assets while promoting responsible tourism.
According to Mr. Treku, iNTTA 2025 will serve as “a platform for global collaboration and cultural exchange,” positioning Ghana as a central hub for tourism, innovation, and investment in Africa.
“This year’s edition reflects our dedication to connecting cultures, building partnerships, and shaping the future of tourism across the continent,” he stated.
The Expo will also feature exhibitions, networking sessions, cultural performances, and B2B meetings, offering participants a well-rounded experience that blends business, creativity, and culture.
