The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) recently received top honors at the 2025 Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards, celebrating its significant contributions to the nation’s tourism and hospitality sectors. The GTA proudly accepted the “Impact in Hospitality and Tourism” award, a testament to its exceptional work in promoting Ghana as a premier travel destination.
Adding to the accolades, Maame Efua Houadjeto, CEO of the GTA, was presented with the esteemed “Impact in Hospitality” award for her outstanding leadership.
Speaking on behalf of the CEO, Mr. Ben Anane Nsiah, Deputy CEO for General Services, expressed gratitude to the event organizers and the dedicated GTA team. He commended Ms. Houadjeto’s exemplary leadership and praised the collaborative spirit of the Authority’s staff, emphasizing their collective pursuit of excellence.
“We are honored to receive this recognition,” Mr. Nsiah stated. “It reflects the hard work of the entire GTA team. This year, we look forward to hosting over 2 million tourists, and we continue to urge Ghanaians to fall in love with tourism because loving Ghana means exploring Ghana.”
A delegation from the GTA attended the ceremony, reinforcing the Authority’s commitment to industry excellence. The delegation included Mr. Ben Anane Nsiah, Mr. Hans Galloway (Personal Assistant to the CEO), Mr. Bright Asempa Tsadidey (Director, Corporate Affairs), Mrs. Betty Kobi (Director, Marketing), Mr. Alex Nketia (Director, PDI), Mr. Kofi Atta Kakra Kusi (Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs), and Miss Francisca Boakye (Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs).
