Ghana Party in the Park Marks 20th Anniversary with Spectacular Celebration in London
This summer, fans of premium entertainment across Europe have much to look forward to, as Ghana Party in the Park (GPITP)—one of the largest African outdoor festivals in Europe—celebrates its 20th anniversary with a grand edition in London.

The event, organized by renowned international Ghanaian marketing and communications agency Akwaaba UK, is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Barnet Playing Fields, Barnet Lane, EN5 2DW, from 12 noon to 8pm.
With the theme “20 Years of Reshaping Ghana’s Narrative: The Next Chapter,” this milestone edition is poised to be the most vibrant yet. CEO of Akwaaba UK, Mr. Denis Tawiah, shared his enthusiasm, stating:
“We’re coming back with a bang this year, and I promise patrons and partners a one-of-a-kind experience. This year’s celebration will be on a scale like never before, with new and exciting elements added.”
To mark this major milestone, Kweku Smoke will headline the event, while King Promise takes on the role of Creative Director, infusing the festival with new energy and creative flair. They will be joined on stage by a star-studded lineup of Ghana’s current music sensations, including DopeNation, MOLIY, Beeztrap KOTM, Cina Soul, Fuse ODG, AratheJay, and the electrifying DWP Academy.
One of the key new additions is Expo Ghana—a business expo designed to promote trade and cultural links between Ghana, the African diaspora, and Europe. Several stakeholder and media activations are also planned in the build-up to the main event.
Mr. Tawiah extended an invitation to Corporate Ghana, diaspora-focused businesses, and Europe-based companies with interests in Africa to seize the unique commercial and networking opportunities available through the event:
“We welcome all businesses interested in meaningful engagement that supports mutual growth and visibility.”
Beyond the musical performances, the 2025 celebration will include a fashion showcase, food fair, gaming zone, and business exhibitions, offering a dynamic and immersive cultural experience for attendees of all ages.
