Goethe Cinema – Big Man Wahala

A corrupt government minister goes on the run, trying to escape the country in the aftermath of a coup d’etat, and he turns to a poor struggling taxi driver to help him escape. Does he make it? And how does this journey affect the taxi driver as well?

The experiences and interactions that occur between this corrupt minister who is escaping and the taxi driver (who is helping him) create much food for thought about leadership in our respective African societies today. All of this happens in a high pressure environment of the coup, in an atmosphere of tension. It all makes for an interesting drama that needs to be watched.
