UN Family in Ghana collaborates with Image Bureau and April Communications for a groundbreaking theatre experience

When great organizations unite, extraordinary things happen. Beyond the Walls, a groundbreaking theatrical production, will take center stage at the National Theatre on March 29-30, 2025, with showings at 4 PM and 8 PM daily. This inspiring collaboration brings together Image Bureau, April Communications, Joy FM, and the UN Family in Ghana, spearheaded by the Joint United Nations Program on HIV and AIDS.
This powerful partnership underscores the role of art in driving social change, delivering a play that is both thought-provoking and unforgettable.
Penned by George Quaye and directed by Naa Ashorkor, Beyond the Walls explores the lives of prisoners and ex-convicts, shedding light on themes of stigma, redemption, and the quest for a second chance.
More than just a performance, the play serves as a call to action—challenging audiences to reconsider their perceptions of incarcerated individuals and the obstacles they face in reintegrating into society.
The production is proudly supported by UNAIDS, UNESCO, Stanbic Bank, The Fair Justice Initiative, Joy FM, Nii Plants Car Rentals, the Ghana Tourism Authority, and other key partners who recognize its potential to inspire meaningful change.
Through shared expertise and resources, these organizations are fostering a platform for dialogue, empathy, and social transformation.
