AFROSON1C X unveils co-curator music partnership with SXSW London

AFROSON1C X, a showcase festival and industry conference spanning music, technology, and the arts, is set to launch in Accra, Ghana, in 2026.

With a mission to connect African creatives to global opportunities, foster cross-cultural collaborations, and shape the future of the industry in West Africa, AFROSON1C X is proud to announce a groundbreaking co-curator partnership with SXSW London, scheduled for June 2 to June 7, 2025.

The inaugural edition of SXSW London will feature headline performances from Tems and Idris Elba.

As an official co-curator, AFROSON1C X will present a carefully selected lineup of outstanding West African talent, providing these artists with a major international platform at the debut edition of SXSW London. This collaboration showcases the vibrant and evolving West African music scene, introducing fresh and dynamic sounds to global audiences.

Recognized as one of the world’s most influential festivals, South by Southwest (SXSW) celebrates the convergence of music, film, and interactive industries. The AFROSON1C X stage will spotlight an exciting wave of talent, strengthening the bridge between Africa and the global music industry.
