Music star Wendy Shay visited the Kasoa market this week, offering donations to traders as part of her community outreach ahead of Shay Concert 2025.
Her unannounced appearance attracted a large crowd and brought excitement to the marketplace. Wendy Shay supported 50 traders with a total of GH¢25,000 and distributed mobile phones during the engagement.
Grateful beneficiaries shared their appreciation, with videos of the visit quickly circulating on social media.
Earlier in the day, Wendy Shay paid a courtesy visit to the chief of Weija, where she observed traditional protocols before proceeding to Kasoa.
At the market, she interacted warmly with traders and posed for photos with fans who gathered to welcome her.
The outreach activity builds momentum for Shay Concert 2025, scheduled for Saturday, November 22 at 7 pm at the West Hills Mall in Weija.
The concert will feature major performers such as Shatta Wale, Medikal, KiDi, Kelvyn Boy, Olivetheboy, and Amerado.
Wendy Shay’s team also distributed branded items during the Kasoa activation and encouraged residents to attend the upcoming event.
