Ghana’s Arenees Dance Crew has brought pride to the nation after securing 3rd place at the 2025 World Supremacy Battleground, a prestigious street dance lifestyle festival in Dubai.
Led by award-winning choreographer IllyBoy, the crew shared the exciting news in an emotional Instagram post, calling the achievement an unexpected triumph. “From a disappointment to a World Champion within a week is a huge testimony of God’s hand on my life,” IllyBoy wrote.
“A trip we never planned for, a competition we were least prepared for — this is just the abundance of grace, and I’m proud to have won this for the Motherland.”
He extended heartfelt thanks to their “destiny helpers” and supporters, including Flawless Dance Studio, for standing with them throughout the journey.
The crew also expressed appreciation to the event organisers, WSB Street, as well as the dancers, judges, and friends who contributed to making the experience unforgettable.
