Miss Tourism Ghana 2025 Talent Show celebrates unity and showcases cultural pride

The 16th edition of Miss Tourism Ghana officially commenced with a vibrant Talent Show held at the Lancaster Hotel in Accra on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Far beyond a display of beauty, the event served as a celebration of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and a platform for unity and empowerment.

Held under the theme “Tourism, the Heart of Ghana – Women Shaping a Sustainable Ghana and Bridging the Divide: A United Future for All Africans”, the show featured powerful performances and cultural expressions that highlighted Ghana’s diversity, promoted national cohesion, and underscored tourism’s vital role in sustainable development.

The event also spotlighted the talent, intelligence, and beauty of Ghanaian women, reinforcing the importance of female leadership in shaping the nation’s tourism and cultural identity.

Madam Delphine Brew-Hammond, Director of Events and Operations for Miss Tourism Ghana, shared that this year’s edition aims to nurture the potential of young Ghanaian women, with strong support from Sharon Ghana.

“In this edition, none of the contestants represent only their individual regions—they all proudly raise the flag of Ghana,” she stated, emphasizing the pageant’s focus on national unity over regional representation.

She also announced an upcoming event titled “Regional Costume,” which will further showcase the cultural uniqueness of each contestant. Madam Brew-Hammond encouraged families, friends, and the wider public to support the participants as they honor Ghana’s vibrant heritage.

Looking ahead, she expressed optimism that the contestants will grow into influential ambassadors capable of representing Ghana on global platforms. She also called for broader support from corporate sponsors, civil society, and government institutions to sustain and elevate the pageant’s mission.
