The Tsenku (Chenku) Waterfall, also known as Wuruduwurudu Fall, is situated in the Dodowa Forest close to the Shai Hills Wildlife Reserve. The lone waterfall in the region is Tsenku, which is located 39 kilometres from Accra, the country’s capital.
The waterfall, which descends from a height of around 250 feet and flows over stratified rocks, before bending into the sea. The enormous, exposed boulders in the valley of the tiny Popotsi creek is what makes Tsenku waterfall so stunning.
There are beautiful granite formations that surround a little cave near the falls.
The nearby (once-holy but severely depleted) woodland has the name of the Tsenku god, whose shrine can be found at Obosomase.
