Celebrated Ghanaian music executive Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh, known professionally as NYB, has officially joined the Recording Academy’s 2025 New Member Class. This achievement places him among a global network of respected professionals shaping the future of the music industry.

A Champion of African Talent
NYB is the Head of Music at Amin Entertainment LTD, also known as Amin Music. He is the founder of Nest Lvl Management, a talent management agency that supports the next generation of African musicians. His selection for the Recording Academy is a recognition of his growing influence in Africa’s music scene.

A Strong Background in Music Business
NYB is an alumnus of the Music Business Academy for Africa, a top institution for training emerging music professionals. He also completed the Soundscapers Program, which focuses on music publishing. Through these programs, NYB has continued to advocate for better education and transparency in African music rights and royalties.
Proven Industry Experience
Over the years, NYB has worked with several notable artists. These include 3x GRAMMY-winning group Morgan Heritage, Mr Drew, Olivetheboy (through Loop Music), Jah Lead, Teflon Flexx, and Kwesi Arthur (through Tieme Music).
Currently, he manages RCee, one of Ghana’s fast-rising talents. RCee is gaining traction with his hit single “Agenda.”

At Amin Music, NYB plays a key role in artist development, A&R, and strategic planning. Through Nest Lvl Management, he offers business guidance to artists and producers, helping them navigate the music industry with confidence.
