Isaac Kofi Dzokpo, affectionately known as Hon Ike, is steadily establishing himself as a force in Ghana’s media and entertainment industry. With talents spanning comic acting, content creation, journalism, and humanitarian work, Dzokpo has emerged as a compelling figure whose influence reaches far beyond the screen.

He first gained popularity through his engaging and humorous skits that reflect the everyday experiences of Ghanaians. His ability to blend satire with social commentary quickly won him a loyal following and positioned him as a rising star in the digital comedy scene.
Dzokpo’s acting breakthrough came in 2014 with a role in Beasts of No Nation, the acclaimed Netflix drama spotlighting the plight of child soldiers in West Africa. His dynamic range was on display again in the comedic film Diamond Race, where he played a king, effortlessly shifting between drama and comedy.
Over the years, Hon Ike has earned accolades such as Content Creator of the Year, Comedian of the Year, and Blogger of the Year at the 2023 National Industrious Awards—testament to his versatility and growing impact.
Beyond entertainment, Dzokpo is also a seasoned journalist at News Ghana, reporting on critical issues including health, politics, education, environmental sustainability, and the SDGs. His storytelling often gives voice to underrepresented communities and advocates for social justice.
He is also the co-founder of the Save Nations Foundation, an NGO he launched with US-based Ghanaian Samuel Osei. The organisation delivers vital support to underprivileged communities through health outreach, education programs, and youth empowerment initiatives.
His advocacy for peace has earned him international recognition. In 2021, he was named a Peace Ambassador by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and was inducted into the Ghana chapter of the International Media Association for Peace (IMAP) as an executive member.
Dzokpo is an alumnus of the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM-UK), holding a professional qualification that complements his work in media and entrepreneurship.
Whether through laughter, impactful reporting, or social initiatives, Isaac Kofi Dzokpo’s goal remains simple: to uplift and inspire. “My mission is to bring smiles to those who are heartbroken,” he says—a vision he continues to live out with passion and purpose.
