The 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards took place on Saturday, May 10, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), with King Promise emerging as the Artiste of the Year, overcoming tough competition from Stonebwoy and King Paluta.
Other notable winners included Empress Gifty, Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata, Esther Godwyll, Kweku Smoke, KiDi, Team Eternity Ghana, and Tulenkey.
Gospel music icon Yaw Sarpong was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the gospel music industry. In total, 32 awards were presented throughout the evening.
The night kicked off with a performance by Ayisi, followed by Yaw Darling, who won Unsung Artiste of the Year. Empress Gifty, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Stonebwoy, King Promise, and King Paluta also delivered stunning performances.
Mavis Asante and Maame Tiwaa graced the stage, while Titi Owusu, Adina, and Adomaa performed a heartfelt tribute to the late Teddy Osei, leader of the Osibisa band.
