The race for votes in the upcoming 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) has intensified in recent weeks, with nominated artistes actively campaigning for support across various platforms.
While some nominees have engaged the services of public relations professionals to promote their campaigns, others are taking a more personal approach—directly reaching out to fans via social media and other digital channels to garner votes.
Among the latter is Ghanaian Afrobeat sensation KiDi, who has been vocal about his confidence in his hit single Lomo Lomo, which features fellow artiste Black Sherif. As part of his campaign efforts, KiDi took to his social media pages to make a bold declaration about the song’s impact and relevance in this year’s awards.
“No song should beat Lomo Lomo in ANY category! But I need you to vote, my loves,” he passionately urged his fans.
