The main ceremony of the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, originally scheduled for May 3, 2025, has been rescheduled.
Charterhouse Productions, the organisers of the event, have announced that the new date for the ceremony will be May 10, 2025.
The highly anticipated event will take place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
A statement from the organisers explained, “This change unfortunately impacts the schedule of activities leading up to the main ceremony.” As a result, the following events will now take place on their revised dates:
- Master Class: Thursday, May 8, 2025
- Pre-Party: Friday, May 9, 2025
Voting lines for the Telecel Ghana Music Awards are now open. Fans can vote for their favourite artistes by dialing *1767# and submitting the artiste’s code, following the prompts. Alternatively, voting is also available for free at www.GhanaMusicAwards.com.
Discussions and debates about the potential winners, especially for Artist of the Year, have been intense. Fans, social media influencers, and even some artistes have engaged public relations teams to help promote their work.
The winners in the popularity categories of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards are determined by three voting groups: the Board, the Academy, and the Public, while the technical categories are judged by the Board and Academy.
The 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards will celebrate exceptional accomplishments in the Ghanaian music scene, featuring a glamorous red carpet, live performances by top artistes, and the presentation of awards to the most deserving talents.
