Kwahu Easter Paragliding Festival Scheduled for April 18

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, will host this year’s edition of the highly anticipated Kwahu Easter Paragliding Festival on April 18.

This international event, which draws thousands of tourists, will take place in Atibie, Kwahu, from April 18 to 21, running daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

A Thrilling Easter Tradition

Held annually during the Easter celebrations, the festival brings together experienced paragliding pilots from across the globe to fly hundreds of adventure enthusiasts over the breathtaking Kwahu landscape. Over the years, it has grown into Ghana’s most popular Easter attraction.

20th Edition: Bigger and Better

A media release highlighted that the 20th edition of the festival promises an unforgettable adventure for thrill-seekers. Ticket prices are set at GH¢1,350 per flight, with an early bird offer of GH¢1,250 available until March 31.

  • Lamina Ilea (Romania)
  • Eduardo Reategui Vera (Peru)
