Black Kulcha Music officially released their highly anticipated reggae album, Love & Reasons Riddim, on February 5, 2025.
This cross-continental project fuses reggae with African influences, featuring talented artists from Ghana and East Africa. It is a collaborative effort between UK-based Ghanaian-origin producer Mark Darlington and Serbian reggae producer Vladimir Krkljus.
Love & Reasons Riddim is a vibrant musical journey celebrating unity, love, and cultural exchange. Blending the soulful, roots-driven reggae sound of Black Kulcha (Mark Darlington) with the innovative, globally influenced beats of Vladimir Krkljus, the album offers a refreshing yet deeply traditional experience.
Drawing inspiration from the rich musical landscapes of Ghana, Jamaica, Europe, Malawi, and Zimbabwe, the album explores themes of love and social consciousness while bridging the cultural gap between Africa and the Caribbean. Each track tells a unique story, connecting the soulful rhythms of reggae with the pulsating melodies of Africa.
