The Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG) has reintroduced its premier industry event, the Gong Gong Awards, to recognize individuals and brands that drive innovation and storytelling in Ghana’s advertising sector.
Now rebranded as the Gong Gong Festival of Creativity & Awards, the event is scheduled to take place from Monday, April 28 to Saturday, May 3, 2025.

A New Era for the Gong Gong Awards
Themed “Disrupt & Inspire: Recognising Brands and Agencies that Challenge Norms and Redefine Creativity,” the festival will honor excellence in advertising, branding, and creative communications.
AAG Executive Director Isaac Cudjoe explained that after a two-year hiatus, the awards had been reimagined to align with global trends in advertising and branding.
The week-long festival will include a Brand and Creativity Exhibition at Accra Mall, offering industry professionals and consumers a chance to experience top-tier advertising and branding innovations. It will also feature panel discussions, masterclasses, and networking sessions aimed at fostering collaboration and creativity within the industry.
