The Band FRA Celebrates Ten Years of Excellence with the Fra!10nity Festival

The Band FRA marked its 10th anniversary in grand style last Saturday with the FRA!10NITY FESTIVAL, held at Alliance Française in Accra.

The event, celebrating a decade of musical innovation and remarkable performances, featured a diverse lineup of talented artists and drew a packed crowd of enthusiastic fans.

The evening showcased the best of Ghanaian musical talent, with performances from several exceptional bands. Nativ Afrik kicked off the festivities with a high-energy 20-minute set, followed by the dynamic GG Brass with a 15-minute performance. West Coast Ebusua kept the energy high with their 20-minute set, while the Nkyinkyim Band captivated the crowd for 23 minutes. Prince Benjamin added a heartfelt touch with a 5-minute performance.

A special moment of the evening was when PENGOD took the stage, delivering a powerful spoken word piece, setting the tone for The Band FRA’s much-anticipated performance.

The Band FRA did not disappoint, taking the stage for an unforgettable 120-minute set that included back-to-back hits from their albums. The crowd was on its feet, singing along to every song.

A standout moment of the night came when the Executives of Alliance Française announced that they would offer The Band FRA their venue free of charge for their next event, a gesture in recognition of the band’s electrifying performance and their ability to fill the venue to capacity.

The Band FRA has had an outstanding year, including international tours in 2024, with stops in the UK and other countries, further solidifying their global appeal and position as ambassadors of Ghanaian music.

The FRA!10NITY FESTIVAL not only celebrated a decade of musical excellence but also signaled a new era for live band music in Ghana. The event was a resounding success, highlighting the growing power and potential of live music in the country, with The Band FRA at the forefront.
