This partnership introduces a dedicated flight service designed to enhance travel convenience and accessibility, making it easier for passengers to journey between the United Kingdom and Ghana’s Ashanti Region.
The launch of this service represents a significant development for Ghana’s aviation and tourism industries. It strengthens international connectivity, especially between Europe and Kumasi—a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and growing economic significance.
The first outbound flight from Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport is set to take off on December 15, 2024. Strategically timed for the holiday season, this new route offers a seamless option for those planning to visit the Ashanti Region during Christmas festivities.
